I Wear My Sunglasses Inside

For a few days it was Josephine's top priority to wake up, put on her new sunglasses, and then go about her business.

Visit With the Hanchetts

Our good friends the Hanchetts were in town last weekend. Here are some pictures from when they, along with our friends James and Katie, were over the Sunday before last.
One of Josie's favorite activities is jumping int the crib with her friends.

I think Ev and Josie are two peas in a pod when it comes to their love of reading.

Whenever a book is being read, Josephine has to get in on the action.

Shoes and Hats

I haven't felt well enough to post anything in a while. I'll try to be more with it now that I'm feeling better. Here's a selection of what Josie has been doing around the house... mostly trying on various shoes and hats. The swim diaper hat made me laugh the hardest.

Lots Going On

Josie and Mom (as she is now known) took a trip to Colorado last week, where Josie procured, courtesy of Grandma Deborah, two stuffed animals of Dr. Seuss fame. When they got back, she had a box from Grandpa Jim and Grandma Carlene with lots of fun books!

Here she is eating a new snack: graham crackers with "cream" (a.k.a. icing).

After we got ready to go to church Sunday morning, Josie decided she was so cute that we needed to take a picture. We agree.
Another new hobby is coloring! Josie will sit for pretty long stretches of time and color away.

Finally, Josie and Mom made a cake today. Here's Josie enjoying the results, which she sometimes just calls "flour." Notice the fork-holding method.

What a Performance!

Josie likes to sing this song from time to time. I can't believe I was able to catch it on video!

Favorite Sweater

Josie's grandma Carlene made her this adorable sweater. She asked me yesterday to wear the sweater with the green flowers.
