Brush Teeth

Almost any time one of us stands in front of the bathroom sink, Silas comes in begging to "buush teeth." So, I got him a toothbrush and now he brushes his teeth (all six of them) with Josie. He even likes to use "poothpaste." Unfortunately these pictures are blurry, but I think the gist of the cuteness comes through.

As you can see he really gets into it.

Merry Christmas!

I didn't get very many Christmas pictures. But here are a couple. This is Christmas Eve. They move too much, this is the best shot I could get.

My Favorite Tree

Here's our tree all decked out. I was less perfectionistic about our tree than I've been in years past but I love it because I feel like it has more meaning and represents the love and joy that kids bring to our home.

Advent Begins

This year we’re endeavoring to do a Jesse Tree. We participated in an ornament exchange so we have 52 ornaments to correspond with 52 days of readings about Jesus’ descendants and the story of his birth. We started off with The Creation of the World, followed by The Creation of Man.
